ELLO DELIVERY TERMS & CONDITIONS

This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000.

The Platform Services and Delivery Services are collectively referred to as "Services". For both Platform Services and Delivery Services, ELLOCART is merely acting as an intermediary between the Merchants and Buyers.

Subject to terms and conditions contained in these Delivery Partner T&C and the Agreement, the Delivery Partner agrees to makes himself available on the ELLOCART DP Platform to undertake Delivery Services as and when a request for the same is placed by a User through the ELLOCART DP Platform, and to provide Delivery Services to the Users to the best of his abilities.

  1. All commercial/contractual terms are offered by and agreed to between Buyers and Merchants alone with respect to products and services being offered by the Merchants. The commercial/contractual terms include without limitation price, applicable taxes, shipping costs, payment terms, date, period and mode of delivery, warranties related to products and services and after sales services related to products and services. ELLOCART does not have any control or does not determine or advise or in any way involve itself in the offering or acceptance of such commercial/contractual terms between the Buyers and Merchants. ELLOCART may, however, offer support services to Merchants in respect to Order fulfilment, mode of payment, payment collection, call centre support and other ancillary services, pursuant to independent contracts executed by ELLOCART with the Merchants. The price of the product and services offered by the Merchant are determined by the Merchant itself and ELLOCART has no role to play in such determination of price in any way whatsoever.

  2. ELLOCART does not make any representation or warranty as to the item-specifics (such as legal title, creditworthiness, identity, etc.) of any of the Merchants. You are advised to independently verify the bona fides of any particular Merchant that you choose to deal with on the Platform and use your best judgment on that behalf. All Merchant offers and third-party offers are subject to respective party terms and conditions. ELLOCART takes no responsibility for such offers.

Responsibilities of a delivery boy :

  • Should be vigilant enough to perform more task than they are expected to do which is simply transporting items from one place to another.

  • Need to be the effective keeper of people's food, products or goods etc which they have ordered.

  • Need to ensure the safety of the products which the customers have ordered.

  • Need to have exceptional driving skills along with an ability to navigate.

  • Organize every product according to the destination they prioritize first.

  • Verify each product and ensure that you have every item stocked up for delivery.

  • Acquire the signature of the customer as an agreement that the product reached you with zero damage and on time.

  • Need to give each and every detail of the discounts on the products so that the customer has knowledge about it.

  • Lastly, make sure that you document each and every incident or problems that you faced during your delivery.

Refund terms for buyers :

  1. A refund or replacement request should be initiated within 7 days of date of delivery, by calling the customer support on ‘_’ number or email at packaging@”_” .

  2. A refund or replacement will be initiated for following cases:

    • Quality issues

    • Quantity mismatch

    • Items not as per description

  3. Pickup of delivered items will be arranged by ELLOCART.

  4. For replacements, the new delivery will be made as per SLA policy

Refund terms for sellers:

  1. Post confirmation from ELLOCART, seller will have to arrange pickup of requested items within 1 day.

  2. For replacements, seller will have to arrange the same within 1 day of pickup

  3. For refunds, seller will not receive any payment from ELLOCART.

  4. For replacement, seller will receive payment as per payment terms with new delivery date

Payment terms for buyers :

  1. Online payments

    • Can use any online payment method (card, net banking, UPI, etc)

    • Can use any payment wallets

  2. Cash on delivery

    • Pay directly to your delivery person

  3. Third party credit

    • Register with a third-party credit facilitator

    • E-sign all loan documents, allowing ELLOCART to settle B2C & current account payment to an escrow define by third party

    • The purchase amount will be deducted from escrow account as per the credit line cycle defined

  4. ELLOCART shall at its sole discretion choose the refund mode. No amounts are paid in cash, at all time. In case the item is found to be a wrong item, then bring it to the knowledge of ELLOCART immediately so that ELLOCART can escalate the same to Merchant. ELLOCART shall not be liable to pay compensation in case of wrong item delivery since ELLOCART can’t verify the item delivered.

    • Guaranteed delivery options are available on Prime Eligible items in select cities.

    • The Delivery guarantee applies to attempted delivery by the promised date. Amazon will not be responsible to provide guaranteed delivery if the customer is not present at the delivery address to take the delivery or if the customer picks up the package on a later date though the package has been delivered at the pickup store on the promised date.

    • On Saturdays, and regional or national holidays, deliveries are not guaranteed to establishments like offices that might be closed.
